During a luxury construction project, an illegally employed worker is killed. Site manager Lutz covers up the accident, but the victim’s daughter is desperately searching for her father. An ambivalent relationship develops, revolving around guilt, responsibility and unexpected intimacy.
On the construction site of a luxury building project, a tragic accident occurs at night: an illegally employed worker dies after falling from a scaffold. In order to conceal the illegal employment relationships, site manager Lutz covers up the death. However, the next day the 14-year-old daughter of the deceased turns up at the construction site. Irsa, now alone in Germany, is looking for her father and, in her desperation, keeps coming to Lutz. While Lutz is trying hard to maintain his ever-growing web of lies, an ambivalent relationship develops between the two of them, revolving around questions of guilt and responsibility. Irsa, who seeks comfort in her despair and loneliness, and Lutz, who is confronted with his own guilt and the consequences of his actions, surprisingly grow close in their encounter.
